7 Area Bakers Square Locations To Close

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― The company that owns Bakers Square said they will have to close seven Twin Cities restaurants after filing for bankruptcy.

The Bakers Square locations that are set to close are in Burnsville, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Plymouth, St. Anthony, St. Paul and Stillwater.

In all, 33 locations will be closed, affecting anywhere form 1,300 to 1,700 employees, though some may be able to transfer to different locations.

Bakers Square is owned by VICORP. To get back into the black, the company said they plan to take a closer look at their nearly 300 other restaurants.
