Health officials want to determine whether children in south Minneapolis have elevated levels of arsenic in their bodies. Parents or guardians would be told to seek medical attention for their children if they're found to have elevated levels of arsenic.
A public meeting on the proposed testing will be held Dec. 6 at the Midtown YWCA.
Health officials have said the risk from contaminated soil is low, since much of the soil is under grass or vegetation.
