Wild Announce National Anthem Finalists

St. Paul (AP) ― The Minnesota Wild have announced the three finalists for the team's national anthem singer at home games.

They are Lauren Redpath of White Bear Lake, Sara Renner of Minneapolis and Mandy Maietta of Shoreview, Minn.

Each will have a chance to sing the national anthem during the pre-season this month. Their performances will be posted on the team's Web site on Monday, Oct. 1. Fans can vote for their favorite singer through Oct. 2.

The winner will be announced Oct. 3.
