Memorial Day Closings

(WCCO) A number of businesses and services will be closed on Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Post offices will be closed across the state, with the exception of the airport location.

Many banks will also be closed for the day.

All public schools, including the University of Minnesota, will be closed.

Government offices and libraries will also be closed.

However, Metro Transit buses and the light rail trains will run on the Sunday schedule. Parking meters in Minneapolis and St. Paul will not be enforced.

Most supermarkets and shopping centers will also remain open.
