In The Know: Pick On Jason, Not Me!

Wednesday's good question was: "Is global warming real?" Jason DeRusha asked the experts at the state and the answer was an unequivocal "Yes." Now Jason is getting hate mail. Don Shelby said, "Better him, than me."
Jason tells me, when the answer to a question doesn't fit with the way you perceive things, then Jason becomes an untrustworthy lackey of the liberal, left media. I can tell you that that is not true. Jason's a straight shooter. In this case, a state climatologist had the facts and figures to prove we are warming.
Actually very few experts on either side of the argument disagree about whether the planet is getting warmer. They only disagree over why. Is it a natural event or is it man causing all or part of it? But, that wasn't part of the question -- though it's a good one.
The question Jason was dealing with was, in light of the cold winter, how can anyone claim we are getting warmer? Another good question.
A good friend of mine told me people have a hard time differentiating between weather and climate. He said, weather is like watching CNN, and climate is like watching the history channel.
However, I encourage you to keep sending Jason your hate mail. I could use the break.
