2009 Target Holidazzle Parade

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― Come and be dazzled at the Target Holidazzle Parade!

The Target Holidazzle Parade celebrates its 18th season from Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. The parade occurs Thursday through Sunday night starting at 6:30 p.m. and makes its way down Nicollet Mall between 12th Street and Fourth Street.

For 18 years, families from around the nation have made it a holiday tradition to bundle up and line the streets of Minneapolis to enjoy the spectacular lighted floats and costumed fairy-tale characters of the Target Holidazzle Parade.

WCCO-TV is also teaming up with Xcel Energy and Snyders Drug Stores to launch a holiday lights recycling program. Through Jan. 10, people can recycle their old holiday lights at any participating Snyders Drug Store, on the WCCO-TV plaza or at the Holidazzle parade. The Recycling Association of Minnesota will then recycle all of the lights and cords. Find out more about the Recycle Your Holidays campaign by clicking here.
