Good To Know: Sending Lures To Deputy Dewey

A week ago today, Mahnomen County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Dewey was shot and critically injured. He is struggling to recover, but talking to family and friends. Don Shelby said there is something special we all can do for Deputy Dewey.
When Chris Dewey was shot, there was little hope that he would survive. His wounds at the hands of two gunmen seemed mortal.
But, Chris fought back. He says fishing season is not far off, and he's a little low on fishing lures.
He likes to fish and it occurs to me that about a million of us have a tackle box with some lures we can spare. I'm going to give him some of mine.
