Minn. Burger Joint Has Beef With McDonald's Ad

(AP) "Who's your patty?" One Minnesota hamburger parlor says the answer certainly isn't "McDonald's Corp."

The Lions Tap in Eden Prairie says it registered that phrase in Minnesota four years ago and also applied for a federal trademark.

In its federal lawsuit, Lions Tap says McDonald's has begun using the phrase in conjunction with its Angus burgers.

It asks the court to stop McDonald's from using the phrase on labels, billboards and other advertisements. It also seeks monetary damages.

McDonald's issued a statement saying it wouldn't comment because it hasn't been served with the complaint.

Lions Tap's Web site prominently featured the slogan at the top of the page Saturday.
