Kelly Clarkson, Kid Rock To Play State Fair

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) ― "American Idol" Kelly Clarkson, country stars Randy Travis and Jason Aldean and a double-header of Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd highlight the 2009 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand lineup.

Other shows on tap for the fair include a blues double-bill with Bonnie Raitt and Taj Mahal, singer-songwriter Jackson Browne, jam-band stars O.A.R. with Brett Dennen, contemporary Christian band Casting Crowns, "A Prairie Home Companion," classic rockers REO Speedwagon and Styx with 38 Special, the Amateur Talent Contest Finals, and comedian Jeff Dunham.

The 2009 Minnesota State Fair runs from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
