The professional screenwriter who wrote this year's film "New in Town" will help judge a Wisconsin screenwriting contest.
The final five for the Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum Screenwriting Experience contest have been decided and the final three will be announced Dec. 7. Minneapolis native Ken Rance will chose the winning entry, which will be announced Jan. 4.
He wrote the screenplay for "New in Town," which stars Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr.
The winner will receive $1,000, recognition in InkTip and a one year subscription to the Creative Screenwriting magazine.
The Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum is a nonprofit mentorship program that was formed in 1982 and held one of the first national screenwriting competitions.
