Seats From Historic Mpls. Theater For Sale

(WCCO) A piece of a historic Minneapolis theater can be yours.

Seats from the Hollywood Theater in Minneapolis are being sold by the city and the Audubon Neighborhood Association.

Prices for the seats range from $25 for one chair, or a discounted rate of $20 a seat if you buy more than one chair.

Seats are being sold individually or in connected sets. Proceeds go towards improvements to the building.

The movie theater, located on 2815 Johnson Street North East, was open from 1935 until 1987 and has been vacant since.

It was designated as a local historical landmark in 1990.
