Senator Norm Coleman, DFL challenger Al Franken and Independence Party challenger Dean Barkley will participate in a debate next Sunday in Rochester.
Coleman, a Minnesota Republican, is seeking re-election after one term in the Senate. He is facing a tough challenge from Franken, a former comedian.
Barkley served briefly as a senator to fill out the remaining weeks of Senator Paul Wellstone's seat at the end of 2002. Barkley had a strong showing in a recent poll, garnering 13 percent.
