"We suggest that you rescan for channels if you're not getting anything. Beyond that, try to adjust your antenna," said WCCO-TV's Kari Nolan.

In just a few hours, WCCO-TV will switch its analog signal to digital. It's planned for 11:59pm, right at the federal government's deadline.
While Twin Cities Public Television made the switch at 9 a.m. Friday, KARE-TV, KSTP-TV and KMSP-TV will join WCCO-TV at 11:59 Friday night.
For people with satellite and cable service, this switch is expected to be seamless and should not affect them. People who receive their signal through an over-the-air antenna and haven't hooked up their television to a converter box will not see any regular programming.
According to a recent Nielsen study, 97 percent of people in the Twin Cities are ready for the switch. A handful of those people have been calling WCCO-TV every day over the past few weeks with questions about their reception.
Kari Nolan answers the phone. She said most people are digital ready, but are having reception problems.
"We suggest that you rescan for channels if you're not getting anything. Beyond that, try to adjust your antenna," she said.
In fact, she recommended putting the antenna closer to a window or even getting an antenna that goes outside.
WCCO will be staffing the phone this weekend to answer any questions. On Saturday, a station representative will take your calls from 10 a.m. to noon and again, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, the times are 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The number to call is 612-339-4444.
