Man Charged With St. Paul Shooting Death

(WCCO) A man has been charged with murder in a drive-by shooting that happened in St. Paul on June 19.

Marquez Daiveon Storey, 18, has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of Dionte Montantes, 18.

Storey allegedly exited a vehicle and shot Montantes in the head on a sidewalk in front of 1025 Iglehart Avenue, according to St. Paul Police.

A witness told police that Storey believed that Montantes was a rival gang member.

Storey also was charged with committing a crime for the benefit of a gang.

A warrant has been issued for Storey's arrest.
