A second teen faces charges in what prosecutors say was the gang-related shooting in St. Paul.
The Ramsey County attorney's office charged 19-year-old Ryan William McMillan of St. Paul with committing a crime for the benefit of a gang and aiding an offender.
Eighteen-year-old Marquez Storey of Vadnais Heights was charged last week with second-degree murder and crime committed for the benefit of a gang in the killing of 18-year-old Dionte Ramone Montantes of St. Paul on June 19.
The criminal complaint said the victim was shot in the head just after leaving a recreation center.
The complaint said Storey and fellow gang members went driving near the center, where Storey and another person got out of the vehicle and approached Montantes. Witnesses said Storey shot him.
-------
The shooting happened on a sidewalk in front of 1025 Iglehart Avenue, according to St. Paul Police.
