Reward Offered In Edina Attempted Robbery
EDINA, Minn. (WCCO) ―
The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect wanted in an attempted robbery.
Police say around 10 p.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old woman was confronted on the 5900-block of Abbott Avenue in the alley behind her home by a man demanding money.
The woman told the man she didn't have any money and the suspect struck her in the face.
The man is described as a 30- to 35-year-old black man, approximately 6-feet-tall, 210 to 230 pounds, with a slight beard, wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball hat and smelling of alcohol.
