2 Plead Guilty To Minn. Prostitution Ring

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ― Two men have pleaded guilty in a prostitution ring involving illegal immigrants.

Fifty-nine-year-old Craig Kraft of Crystal pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court to one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States. Forty-one-year-old Liqing Liu of St. Paul pleaded guilty May 9 to a separate count of conspiracy.

According to their pleas, the men ran the prostitution ring between April 2007 and December 2007. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the men brought Asians into the U.S. to work as prostitutes at apartments and businesses in the Twin Cities advertised as massage parlors.
