Woman Held After 2 Men Shot Near Park Rapids

A 20-year-old Park Rapids woman is being held after two young men were shot and a State Trooper was fired at early Monday.
The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office says it received a report about 1 a.m. Monday that two people had been shot in Clover Township, about 12 miles north of Park Rapids.
When officers arrived, they found two Park Rapids men had been shot with a .22-caliber rifle. An 18-year-old was hit in upper thigh while a 21-year-old was shot in his left hand.
The wounded men were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids.
Officers were told the shooter was a 20-year-old Park Rapids woman who fled in blue Honda Civic. A state trooper later found her in Becker County.
While officers were waiting for backup, officers say the woman fired a shot out of her back window at them. No one as hurt and she was later arrested without further incident.
The woman is being held in the Hubbard County jail awaiting formal charges.
