The 25-year-old Minneapolis man was found walking in a nearby ditch two hours after the crash. He appeared to have only minor cuts and bruises.
The driver was arrested and could face charges of criminal vehicular homicide. The Anoka County sheriff's office says alcohol could have been a factor in the crash.
Four people were in the car when it apparently hit a parked vehicle in Oak Grove just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
A 30-year-old Ham Lake man was dead at the scene. A 31-year-old man suffered serious hand and arm injuries, and a 25-year-old Isanti woman suffered head wounds.
