Renville County
The Willmar woman accused of running over and killing an infant at a campground over the weekend is being held on $500,000 bail.
Thirty-one-year-old Nicolle Prechel can be released on $200,000 bail if she agrees to certain conditions, such as remaining in the state and having no contact with the infant's parents.
Defense attorney Curt Reese said Thursday he's not sure whether his client would post bail under either circumstance.
Prosecutors say Prechel's blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit when her van struck 4-month-old Whyatt Sander on Sunday morning.
Whyatt was in a tent with his parents at the Beaver Falls Campground near Morton. The boy's mother was also injured.
Reese says his client is "devastated" over what happened.

The visitation for Whyatt is on Thursday and the funeral will take place Friday.
