1 Killed, 1 Injured In Minneapolis Shooting

Minneapolis (WCCO) ― One person was killed and another is at Hennepin County Medical Center in serious condition after a shooting in Northeast Minneapolis.

According to Lt. Greg Reinhardt, the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon on the 2200 block of Polk Street Northeast. Police responded to a 911 call before 2:30 p.m. reporting a male being assaulted by a group of individuals, adding one of them was bleeding heavily.

When officers arrived, they found two men -- one was dead, the other was transported to HCMC. The identity and ages of the victims were not known.

On Thursday, Minneapolis Police announced they have arrested three people in connection with the shootings.
