Cops: Men Poured Gas On Residents Of Home Invasion

A home invasion in Lake Elmo, Minn. escalated into a shooting and police chase Wednesday morning.
According to Washington County authorities, a 911 call was placed at 9:22 a.m. about a home invasion on the 200 block of Lake Elmo Avenue.
Authorities reported someone in the residence was shot in the upper torso with a shotgun.
A vehicle then fled from the scene, heading westbound on Interstate 494 before exiting on Highway 120, where police successfully stopped the suspects.
Three people were taken into custody.
Police are still trying to piece together what happened. They said the three men all face charges of felony assault and probable cause armed robbery.
The Washington County Sheriff said the men were in the home for only a few minutes, but in that time they doused four people living there with gasoline.
The victims were a 42-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman, a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl.
Police are still trying to figure out if the robbers knew the victims.
Police records show that there have been numerous police calls to the residence where the incident happened.
The man injured was taken to Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minn. He was treated and released.
The suspects are Richard Paul Delrio, 45, Richard David Koepke, 22 and
Rodger Lee Trice, 30. All three suspects are from St. Paul.
They are
currently being held at the Washington County Jail.
