Ramsey County prosecutors have charged a 15-year-old boy with second-degree murder in the shooting death of another 15-year-old who refused to shake his hand.
They're also seeking to have the 15-year-old tried as an adult.
St. Paul police responded to reports of shots fired at a home on east side late Saturday night. Joshua Albert Wilson-Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the complaint, the suspect and Wilson-Shaw had fought earlier. Later, they were both at a party at the house. The suspect went over to Wilson-Shaw and tried to shake his hand. After Wilson-Shaw refused, the 15-year-old told police, they exchanged words.
The complaint says he told investigators he felt "dissed," then pulled a gun from his waistband and shot Wilson-Shaw.
