Man Pleaded Guilty To 142 Images Of Child Porn

(WCCO) A 40-year-old Cottage Grove man pleaded guilty Wednesday to possessing 142 images and 11 video files of child pornography.

Pang Thao was indicted Aug. 11 and pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography. He admitted that on April 30, he had photos and videos on his computer that had minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He also admitted that he downloaded the items off the Internet.

Thao faces a potential maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
