Arrest Made In Body Found In Truck Homicide

LAKELAND SHORES, Minn. (WCCO) ― Police have arrested the man who was registered to the vehicle where the body of a man was found in Lakeland Shores last week.

Juan Calvillo Bolanos, also known as Eduardo Escobar Felix, 37, of California was found dead in a truck on Nov. 10. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide.

Metro Transit Police in St. Paul arrested Tirso Pineda on Friday, on an unrelated arrest warrant for a federal immigration matter. Further investigation showed Pineda was registered to the vehicle where Bolanos was found.

Pineda remains in custody as the investigation continues. No other arrests in the Lakeland Shores case have been made.
