Body Found In Trempealeau County Field

ETTRICK, Wis. (AP) ― Authorities in western Wisconsin say they responded to a report of a burning vehicle and found a body nearby.

Trempealeau County sheriff's deputies say the death doesn't appear to be suspicious. The body has been sent to the coroner's office in Hastings, Minn. for an autopsy.

Authorities received a call Friday about 7 a.m. reporting a vehicle burning in a field in the Town of Ettrick. Few other details have been released.

The person has not been identified.
