Federal prosecutors say a West Virginia man has been indicted for allegedly mailing explosives to a Minnesota resident.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Minneapolis said Friday that Mark Steven Anderson was charged this week with one count of mailing an injurious article.
Anderson faces a similar charge in West Virginia.
The Minnesota indictment says the Marmet, W. Va. man mailed a package containing explosives to a person in Houston, Minn.
Postal investigators say the package contained two sticks of dynamite connected to fuses and cords.
A spokesman for the Minnesota federal court says no lawyer was listed for Anderson on Friday. Anderson's federal public defender in West Virginia declined to comment.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
