St. Paul Man Convicted In 2008 Murder Case

A St. Paul man was convicted of intentional second-degree murder for the Dec. 11, 2009 shooting death of Lean D. May in St. Paul.
According to a criminal complaint, Lee Murray, 30, confronted May at a house at 417 East Jessamine Ave. with three other men and fatally shot him on the back porch. May was taken to Regions Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Two other men, Jerome West, 34, and Domaine McClinton, 34, pleaded guilty in connection with May's murder. The other man, Shaun Smith, 31, is awaiting trial on a charge of intentional second-degree murder in the case.
No date has been set for Murray's sentencing.
