$175M in High-End Cosmetics Up for Grabs
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
A beauty product giveaway totaling $175 million starts Tuesday. The giveaway is actually a lawsuit settlement involving cosmetics manufacturers and department stores. Macy's, Nordstrom, and others will hand out Chanel, Estée Lauder, L'Oreal and other high-end brands.

Lotions and perfumes will be valued at about $20.
The cosmetic class-action settlement runs until January 26, 2008, while supplies last. The stores that will be participating in the settlement product distribution are the following:
-Bergdorf Goodman
-Bergner's
-Bloomingdale's

-Carson Pirie Scott
-Dillard's
-Gottschalks
-Herberger's
-Macy's
