Minnesota Gas Prices Down As Low As $2.59

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ― Minnesota gasoline prices continue to drop as demand falls, but prices are still around 19 percent higher than last year at this time.

On Monday morning, TwinCitiesGasPrices.com reported prices as low as $2.59 a gallon at several stations in Coon Rapids and St. Francis in the northwest metro area.

MinnesotaGasPrices.com reported gas at $2.62 and $2.64 at some Red Wing stations.

The American Automobile Association reports that the average price of unleaded regular gasoline is down to $3.25 a gallon nationwide. AAA expects gas prices to fall another 25 cents before Thanksgiving.
