Sue Turner
Sue Turner doesn't sit still well and thought being on the go, hunting for news, would be the perfect career for her.
Sue
majored in broadcast journalism and psychology at The American
University in Washington, D.C. Her first job was in Hastings, Neb.,
where she learned a lot about farming.
Sue has also worked as
an anchor and reporter in the Quad Cities; Orlando, Fla.; Lincoln,
Neb.; and here in Minneapolis. Sue loves the Twin Cities because of its
people.
An avid runner, Sue's favorite marathon is the Twin
Cities Marathon. She is most proud of completing an Ironman Triathlon
in 1996 in Australia.
Her free time is now spent with her
three children, Annie, Abegail, and Emmanuel. Sue and her husband Scott
traveled to Liberia to bring Abegail and Emmanuel home in July of 2007.
Sue said she is thrilled to be a part of WCCO-TV, because she has always admired the station's strong commitment to journalism.
