Sue Turner

Sue Turner doesn't sit still well and thought being on the go, hunting for news, would be the perfect career for her.

Sue majored in broadcast journalism and psychology at The American University in Washington, D.C. Her first job was in Hastings, Neb., where she learned a lot about farming.

Sue has also worked as an anchor and reporter in the Quad Cities; Orlando, Fla.; Lincoln, Neb.; and here in Minneapolis. Sue loves the Twin Cities because of its people.

An avid runner, Sue's favorite marathon is the Twin Cities Marathon. She is most proud of completing an Ironman Triathlon in 1996 in Australia.

Her free time is now spent with her three children, Annie, Abegail, and Emmanuel. Sue and her husband Scott traveled to Liberia to bring Abegail and Emmanuel home in July of 2007.

Sue said she is thrilled to be a part of WCCO-TV, because she has always admired the station's strong commitment to journalism.
