Mike Fairbourne
Mike Fairbourne joined WCCO-TV as a meteorologist in 1977.
He has been honored with several awards, including the M.E.A. School Bell Award, the Minnesota Civil Defense Director's Certificate of Commendation and the International Weather Festival Trophy.
Mike's community involvement includes being a member of the Community Resources Pool, serving on the board for the Minnesota Chapter of "Operation Smile," speaking at the Young Scientist Round Table, holding several church leadership positions and as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America.
Mike earned his degree in meteorology at the University of Utah. He and his wife Peggy, have raised seven children.
