Joe Berglove

An Elk River, Minn. native, Joe Berglove started at 'CCO in 1985 performing various duties, namely dispatching. (That involves sitting in a small room, listening to about 50 police scanners at the same time.)

In 1986 he was offered a position as an apprentice photojournalist, which he happily took, anxious to get away from those 50 police scanners!

In 1987, Joe shot his first story: the Minnesota Twins winning the World Series. It was a great first story.

After photographing general assignment stories for a few years, Joe moved into the Dimension unit in 1991, which later became the Special Projects Unit.

Joe is probably best known for the Good Question segments he works on with reporter Jason DeRusha.

Joe loves being outside. He hunts, fishes, camps and builds boats. When he's had enough of those activities, he does some screen writing. In true Hollywood lingo, Joe said he "has several projects in various stages of development."

Here are a few of Joe's favorite stories he helped create:

Returning To Alaska's Defiled Coast (Part 1)
Returning To Alaska's Defiled Coast (Part 2)
Returning To Alaska's Defiled Coast (Part 3)
 Jon Grunseth, After The Storm
 Joe Seliga, Canoe Builder
