• What year did you join WCCO? 1990
• What is your favorite thing about WCCO? That we're nationally recognized as a top notch news organization breaking stories that affect everyone… like lead jewelry. That story brought national attention to other consumer products and companies still dealing with the problem.
• What/who's on your iPod? It's brand new and empty. I'm waiting for the assistance of several kids to get me started.
• Do you embrace technology or run away from it? See above.
• Do you text message? Do you know how? I'd rather e-mail or leave messages. See above.
• What do you watch on TV, if anything? I really don't watch TV but I caught some reruns of "Everyone Loves Raymond". I'm floundering for a show worthy of my time.
• What is the best thing you have ever read? My bible. I just finished it cover to cover this spring.
• What or who was your last Google? Kitchen cabinets.
• What are you passionate about? The interests of children, education, exercise, friendships, art.
• What scares you? Bats.
• What's the biggest risk you've taken? Moving to a new state (Minnesota) with a new baby and hopes for a new job. Everything worked out.
• What's the word that best describes WCCO? Committed.
• If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be? Why? Bono. I can't sing but if knowing for a moment I could, I would sing till the fans said enough already and leave.
• What does "Know More" mean to you? I have know idea.
• Favorite word? "Hi dad."
• What is your favorite story you've covered? The one I did yesterday.
• Who would you hate to interview? It's part of the job but murders and child molesters.
• Why are you a journalist? It's a job that takes me places and introduces me to people I might not meet. It's like everyday's a field trip. You learn something about everything but are an expert in nothing.
• Hometown? Bismarck, North Dakota.

• What are your hobbies? Tennis, gardening, painting, swimming.
• Least favorite household chore? Dusting.
• Number of Pets (and names)? Pending.
• Favorite Food? Anything homemade and prepared by someone else.
• Favorite Sports team? I'm a big tennis fan.
• Favorite musician? The Kinkades.
• Favorite vacation spot? The Makaha valley on the Leeward side of Oahu and the Missouri river between Lake Sakakawea and Washburn, North Dakota, they are miles apart and vastly different but when my feet touch the ground an unexplainable calmness takes over, I can't explain it.
