Anthony Knoss
Born at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Anthony grew up all over Minnesota, including: Dunnell, Richfield, St. Louis Park, Hopkins and St. Francis where he graduated in 1986 from St. Francis High School.
At the age of 12, his mother purchased one of the first consumer video cameras and has been producing video productions ever since. Even before learning how to drive, Anthony continued to develop his video production skills as a volunteer cable access producer in Anoka.
Aspiring to become a music video and movie director, Anthony attended the
Film Studies Program at Minneapolis Community College.
Before having a chance to complete his degree, Anthony was hired as a community access producer for
Quad Cities Community Television producing government and community affairs programming for the northern suburbs.
Still feeling the call of music video production, Anthony ventured out as an independent producer, creating music video programming. His work led to a job as Technical Operations Manager at radio station
REV105.
In 1994, WCCO-TV was looking for an overnight photographer. Anthony was offered the position, which started his long career with the station.
One interesting personal fact about Anthony is his second cousin happens to be
Macaulay Culkin of "Home Alone" fame.
