Brad Kopp
The most notable thing Brad Kopp can tell you about his career is that he filmed Elvis.
While working with film at KDAL-TV in Duluth, Minn. in the 1970s, Brad also filmed the Edmund Fitzgerald and the Congdon murder scene.
Brad moved to the Twin Cities in 1986 and has been a photojournalist with WCCO-TV since 1989. He grew up in Little Canada and Scandia.
Brad loves to fly and has flown in many different airplanes while on assignment. He once flew on the Concorde from London to New York and has also flown in the Goodyear Blimp.
When not out covering the latest news story, Brad's passion is rebuilding, restoring and riding moto guzzi motorcycles.
He also watches a fair amount of hockey, which his youngest son plays. Brad also has two other children who are both in college.
Brad and his wife are the proud owners of two dogs. The first, "Scout", is a red lab mix that Brad rescued in 2003. The second dog, "Finn", is a puppy Brad gave to his wife for her birthday in 2006. Finn is a caramel cockapoo.
